COLORADO!!

Hilary and I went to Colorado to visit my family this last week. We had so much fun hanging out with my family! My sister Tiff picked us up from the airport and took me to my brother's office to get my teeth cleaned. It felt so good to get a "good" cleaning! Hilary did so well with meeting everyone, usually she cries if someone she doesn't know talks to her but she was all smiles this trip. After seeing my brother and getting my cleaning, Tiff and I went to lunch :) It is so nice to be able to hang out with my sister and catch up on life.

Grandpa Don and Grandma Geri were waiting for us when we arrived at my dad's house,  I was so excited to see my daddy and Geri.  Grandpa Don and Hilary bonded right away, she was kicking and smiling as he was talking to her. She already has him wrapped around his fingers. That night we went to my dad's country club and had a really nice dinner with my family and the food was So yummy!

We did so much while we were in Colorado. I was able to go to my nephew and niece's soccer and basketball game which was so fun to see them play. My sister's, nieces and I  all had a girls night and watched Adventure's in Babysitting which is a CLASSIC 80's movie and we had a sleepover. We had some good laughs! I love spending time with them!

Saturday night the whole family got together and my step-mama put together a really nice dinner. I seriously can't express enough  how lucky we are to have Geri in our life!! She has been such a blessing to our family!! I know my mom is so happy with my dad's decision to merry her! We love her so much!!!! We watched all of our home video's that night which is bitter/sweet for me. My mom was so beautiful!! In one of the video's she was pregnant with my oldest brother and she looked so beautiful! Words can't even express the beauty my mother is! I loved all the old video's of my mom and dad. I loved seeing the love that was expressed to one  another of my mom and dad.

My sister Tiff decided to spend the night and when everyone left to go home my dad, sister and I sat on the couch till 1:30am and talked about my mom. It was hard to see my dad cry about my mom and what he went through when she was sick,  to hear all the heartache he went through broke my heart. I felt closer to my dad and sister as we cried and shared our memories of my mother. It was hard to talk about everything but it was good to express my emotions and get them out.

Colorado was so fun and I am so glad I was able to see my family!! Family is everything to me and I am grateful to know that we are together forever!!
